it could come from the window!
is there a trail of water on the floor?
the trail might start at around the door window seals and then make alittle trail of water on the floor towards the seat.

it could also be the t-tops, just because the water just leaks on the front passengers floor doesnt rule out the t-tops leaking, my t-tops just leaked on the rear before i fixed the leak with silicone.

It could also be the seal at the base of the windshield.... a glass shop should have some kind of leak detector...

All of mine have done that. I'm absolutely convinced that it's the vents in front of the windshield. They collect water and it dribbles into the HVAC and then onto the floor. Know what the worst thing is. If you can see it that means that the insulation can't soak up anymore! Might want to take a look under there and see what kind of water/rust damage you have. Then again, you might not want to know.

Your heater core might have burst.

This sort of problem has come up recently on this board and the problem I and most of the others discovered was here.Underneath the heater blower motor is where the wheel arch meets the firewall. This area is very inaccesible and water, leaves, mud etc can accumulate here.Over time this can rot the firewall quite badly.Because of the above inaccesibility and the fact the carpet hides the inside,it can rust a lot without you knowing until water runs in.I literally put my whole hand through the hole in the firewall.I do hope your problem is not as bad as this as the repair involved is a bitch.

PS.It can also happen on the drivers side.

Yup, check below the blower motor....I did and found a ton of debris that collected over the years. Rotted a hole in my firewall....I don't know how to fix it.......any suggestions?

The 2 options I can think of are as follows:
1.mig Weld a new piece of metal in.This is a bitch of a job as it means removing part of the dash and working in a very awkward position.(I did this).Use corroless or por-15 on the repair, and for added security blast cavity wax on the trouble spots.
2.Cut the metal back to clean if possible and use loads of corroless or por-15 around the whole area.Rivet a piece of aluminium mesh over the hole and repair with fibreglass paste or matting and resin.Finish as above(I've also used this on other repairs).Pour yourself a large glass of booze and pat yourself on the back.

PS.Whenever any repair is undertaken make sure it is rustproofed from BOTH sides as you'll be back to where you started.

That happens to me occasionally but I find that it comes from under my roof console.
