To make a long story short, I rear ended a pick up driving home from the beach on sunday night. I only hit his trailor hitch, which did all of the damage.

What I had to do with my foot just so I could open my door: *** that really hurt to do.

Two NON-Stu Shots!

The new fender which WONT be replacing the old one. I guess with all the crap in my head, I never bothered to look at the back of the fender before I got it home... Can you say BONDO? Cause I can surely say that if I wanted a Bondoed fender, I woulda fixed my old one. Especially for $75!
issed:
Semi-road-worthy again, patiently waiting for ANOTHER fender.
So tomorrow after my Grandmothers funeral, Ill be goin to either:
a: Exchange the fender for a GOOD one
b: Rippin the guys head off if he gives me a hard time.

I'd go with B, unless there is no confrontation, then resort to A
Sux that happened to your car bud (one of a few converts I really like.. maybe it's the color
)... good thing it wasn't anything serious tho.

Ouch. At least it's not too bad. Coulda been a lot worse. Just one question. How did you get the fender off and leave that piece of gfx in place? Mine sure didn't come off like that.

1: The hood isnt wrinkled, but in one of the pics you can see how its dented in along with the light cover. You can see in in the 3rd pic in my first post.
2: To get the fender off while leaving the GFX in place was easy. Remove the wheel well to get the the 2 bolts behind the fender that hold the GFX on. Unbolt them, remove about 2 screws underneath, and slowly pull the GFX off the fender, untill the studs are out of the fender. Once the rest of the fender is unbolted, just pull off the fender and your good to go!

Hmm, that's interesting. Mine was held on with a bracket and part of that piece of gfx was slipped into the bracket. Unfortunately, the bracket on mine was riveted. Oh well, no big deal. I plan on buying all new gfx, nose, rear bumper, fenders, hood, etc. lol. And if you do get the RA2 hood, you best post some pictures.
How was your gfx held on your fender? I was able to find some fender gfx on a 92 and they were held on by double stick tape. I don't think that's how it's supposed to be tho.
Hey 88 WS6 TransAm GTA can you take a pic of the gfx seperately(fender ones)-and what it looks like behind the gfx itself?(what it's mounted or suspended by) Thanks a ton!

I think the reason I didnt have the bracket you all are talking about is because I have a Vert... The frame reinforcment is right where that bracked would be. I have to modify any fender I get... because it doesent bolt onto the bottom of the car near the door like all the other ones, I gotta got that bracket off. As for the pic of the GFX, Ill get ya that ASAP.
