CustomX what are those about a 1 inch drop?
Um soo.. if you get lowering springs you can't use factory shocks anymore?

2 inch drop.
Most aftermarket springs are of a higher spring rate, thus your stock shocks wont have enough dampening to properly control the springs movement.

I c,
so I guess I better plan on putting in the QA1 shocks at the same time I get teh lowering springs.
I heard with a 2 inch drop you will have problems if you go to larger wheels/tires Ive been checking into that. seems like If I go 1 inch drop I could comfortable go to 17ich wheels, with 235's

Zepher, Great before and after pics dude!
nosaint ..oh you used dropped spindles ... I was wanting 1 1/2 or 2 front and back lowering springs, but its good to know with 2inch you can run 275's.. whats the width of the tires? 50? 40?
Also I love those wheels! what are they?

Now with the Eibach prokit. And the ride improved greatly. The progressive springs make bumps and handled much more secure and comfotable. Less harsh banging as the stockers bottom out over bumps. Its a mushy floaty feel now!

the Eibach pro's are a 1in drop front and back and the Eibach Sportline are 1.6 front and 1.3 back for a 91 Camaro, and more for other cars according the eibach's website.

I am running 17 in rims with 245/45s... Now because my car is a V-6 its front end did not weigh enough to let a level stance...The nose was way jacked up. We prayed and cut 1/2 a coil. It worked and the ride is fine...We used a cut off wheel little by little to cut & to control the temperature. Last thing I wanted was to ruin the spring by heating it and changing its properties. A V-8 car should have no problems with the springs. Now the car did have to settle for a month or so before it looked like this. Springs always have to seat and settle...
