Actually get a 91/92 Nose. They have the foglight cutouts. You will have to move your turnsignal lamps to the space provided in the nose. But that will give you a factory look without the need for ground effects from a later year and without the look of the 1982-84 nose. Hope that helps.

Well you could always get a Trans-AM nose and the ground effects and rear bumper for your car. But that seems like alot of work for just doing foglights. I wouldn't suggest a chop job simply because they don't usually look good.

Fog lights and nose

Well believe it or not the rubber guards on your nose is removable
and can be modified for fog lights but you would have to add "L"
brackettes for the foglights and made openings 2"x 20" or depending on actual width of nose.

Well with a little custom work you can do this, and you dont have to move your turn signals.

I'm going to be doing this real soon too. I'm putting an '86 Trans Am nose on my '84. I don't think it's necessary to change ALL the ground effects just because I want a new nose! When I took all the stuff off the donor car, it looks like a real easy job too. Since I've taken off the front fenders as well, I won't even have to drill to make the front GFX fit.

Boy, you ain't kidding. And anyone who suggests simply replacing your nose with a '91-'92 nose has obviously never shopped around for one. You're looking at around $400 for one, IF you're lucky enough to find one. I would say forget the foglights because that front clip isn't very condusive for that. Sorry, dude.

Skatepunk,
Do you realize how RARE your hood is??? If I am not mistaken you have an S/E with the front hood louvers, without the rear hood louvers...

Cool... I think that is the first one of those I have ever seen...

only made like 7500 of those cars with that hood...

back to reality

John
