What is the proper tool used for removing the antena nut?

I have been all over trying to find the correct tool used to thighten down the antena nut and have had no success to date. Does anyone know where to get one, I've tried using two screw drivers to turn it but with no luck and a small scratch on the paint I'll fix that when I build my shop. I found a first gen one at classicindustries but no 3rd gen one.

Do you mean the antenna or the base? If your talking about the base, there is a tool that you can get(sorry, don't remember where). It basically resembles a line wrench with raised bars on it. They will fit in the slots and tighten it down. Try asking a body shop about it. That's how I found the one I've got floating around someplace.

Good luck

Those speciality tools can be bought from a snap on dealer or any other tool truck that visits the body shops and garages. I use needle nose pliers to tighten mine. just be careful not to slip with it.

LOL, you got that right. It was simple to take it off with the screw driver but when I tired to put it back on that way it didnt do to well, but at least its only a small scratch that can be fixed in 5 minutes. I'm gonna buy the tool from snapon when they are in town I cant wait.
