Notchbacks

I was wondering, what company makes a notchback that is almost identical to the original. I want to put one on my Z28 that is a perfect match to the original. A friend told me that an aftermarket company makes a nice repo, but all the ones I find are hideous, and not like the original.

Thanks in advance.

The one Redraif just bought is close, but not exactly like an original. Its one of the few I have seen that I actually like. Unlike the original, it has a removable rear window. Hawks is looking at reproducing it now, we'll post more info as it becomes available.

The one RedRaif got was made by Motion Glass in Baldwyn, NY. Brand new, they are $699. They are the closest things to real notchbacks.

Yeah Motion is still around lol. Theyre the ones who made the Motion/Baldwin Camaros back in the day. They usually run ads in the back of all the popular muscle car magazines... If I can find their number, Ill post it. The do not have a web site, you youll have to call them to order a catalog. Also, try a search because it has come up before.

I wish!! Just a pic I grabbed off the net.
But.....back in 88 I bought a targa hatch from motion to put on my Z-never got around to it so I sold it to someone--he said it was way out of shape!! The body shop had to do alot of glassing to make it fit right. Granted this was back in 88.
Also-back then I paid $700 w/o shipping(they're able to keep the same price?)

That is a Motin Notch. Their sides are acually smaller than the stock notchback.
