89GTA, DOn't think they are factory 89GTA seats since they are not lumbar.I will see if I can get a pic.. They are a 4way seat, except the listed 4way at the dealer doesn't have same handles . Both handles are hooked.. Anyway the pins that the 3rd and 4th way (seat a$$ part rock up/down ) 1 is busted.. see my drawing ( i used the black craylon : ) ) anyway this pin goes through 3 parts of the seat and is flared at the end to prevent it from coming out. Is this replacable? Do you know what I am talking about I will get a pic... I went looking for 4th gen seats.. Found 3 sets of leather power lumbar and all were left to the elements due to busted ttops and care free junk dealers.. and for 1 reason or another none were suitable..

 

Do you think this could be a seat and seat track from a Formula?
The seat track on there--if I'm not mistaken--has the 2 handles under the seat--one on each side.

 

well could be.. hope the car isn't a formula though
car has no rpo sheet and 2 gta decals aren't there..
anyway.. I will post a picture..
None has tracks that they would part with?

 

replace them with 4th gen seats.

 

My GTA has the double handles underneath. - Should be replaceable, just look for something similar in another 3rd gen at the junk yard.

- or just do the 4th gen seats - I would if mine weren't identical except for the headrest...

It's really hard to tell where your damage is--but can you thread a nut and bolt in it or did the hole tear?
That's the same seat track that was in my Formula--and they're also in various Birds and T/A's--not very hard to find one. I actually have 3 of them but they're in storage.

 

the broken part (the pin) has 2 different size shanks so you can't just thread a bolt in. the pin is wore. Would have to take a bolt, put it on a lathe and machine part of it down.. then harden it I would say so it wouldn't bend.. I am searching for 4th gen seats but the salvage yards around here don't regard seats as a resellable item and thus don't cover them over and they are all ruined.. So I though, hey maybe someone has fixed this problem before... seat is in vg shape except the pin

 

did the seat come like that with the head rest like that!? i want some those seats look sweet.

 

They were like that when I got them.. I was thinking of getting them recovered. (until they broke) I was going to get a better font. I was told it isn't a "manly" font
