IROC-Z Interion
I have an 1987 IROC-Z convertible. I have just purchased a set of front and rear seats and was wondering where i could find a set of matching door panels. My seats are grey with red. Thanks!

IF you have gray door panels, I would consider trying to match the fabric on the Seats, (You could probably get something REALLY close at any good upholstery shop) and put it into the insert area, not really hard to do... Kind of like what I did on the door of the other side, but use solid material...

Thanks for the info, but the ones on the eby website are for 4th gen. i have a 87 will those door panels fit? what mods would i need to do?
YOu aren't going to get 4thgen panels to fit without some mods with a stock dash, just find a set of panels with a good backing board and make your own or have a shop make you some. Here are some real simple ones I made. I don't really like them much anymore, but I was in a hurry.
Edit - They look funny in the picture, but they are grey & black.

the reason the ones on ebay match your seats is because those seats are from a 4th gen. like everyone has sadi either check out the tech article on the board and attempt making your own (not too hard to do), or get them done at an upholstery shop

Here's what you do. Get a set of Firebird panels like the set on Hawks (see. Firebird 82-90 Door Panel Set New Replacement). The Fabric at the top of the panel surrounding the door handle and window switches can be pulled out SLOWLY without disturbing the padding underneath. Then cut some fabric a little larger than the space to be covered, hit it with some glue spray and tuck it into place with a flat screw driver. I did this in my Iroc on a set of black door panels and I used grey vinyl for the area I am talking about. It came out awesome but I don't have any pics. Maybe I'll take some tonight.
