Rocker GFX removal

I AM TRYING to remove the rocker gfx piece on my 89' IROC.

is there a bolt you have to remove from the inside of the car to get it to detach from in front of the rear tire????

what am i missing...i cant get the the piece loose in front of the rear tire

you will have to remove inner interior panel on pass and driver side

If you have really really skinny arms, you can go in through the vents that are in the door jambs to get the nuts off. There are 2 of them on each side, 10mm I believe.

So they are jsut bolted on then? I though they might be rivited or some crazy not cool thing.

They are speed nuts, 11mm head I believe. They look identical to the nuts that hold the door handles on (I just changed my drivers side handle today).

An easier way is just taking out the lower rear seat, then you can go through a small hole near the very bottom of the pillar way below the speaker. Sometimes the hole is covered with a sticky black square or rectangle. I would almost swear that the nut size is 7/16.

7/16 might fit but it is an 11mm for SURE, i just did except i have a convertable and some reinforcing metal in the way.

I took them off a door I bought. I was going to swap doors, but was too lazy.
