Stripe color for teal car?

Bet I get some answers/opinions for this one...

The more I see pictures of the heritage stripes the more I want them. Only problem is, my car is teal.

I don't know how different color heritage stripes would look on a teal car. I guess black would be my only reasonable option?

I was gonna ask if anyone cared to photoshop this, but it would probably be a nightmare.

Sure as hell wish my car were purple, I think purple with the silver stripes is absolutely the cat's nuts....but $3000 of paintwork is out of the question

Waddaya think?? Leave the teal alone or add a stripe kit?

I believe the heritage teal cars came with silver stripes also. I've seen one in Nebraska.

on eBay a while back there was a teal camaro with black stripes going the lenth of the body. it was mean looking, and suprisingly looked awesome. i usually hate teal, but the stripes helped it out alot....don't have a pic though, hopefully somebody can photoshop it

Clear

If you must, white or silver might look okay.

Dude I would leave it like it is there used to be a teal RS i saw around town that had big grey stripes running the whole length of the car, and it looked TERRIBLE. White might be ok, but try and find some pics out there if you can before u spend money to do something to your car you wont like, or better yet Save ur money and paint it purple! I used to have a 92 Purple Haze camaro (R.I.P) and it was pimp, all the ladies loved it!

That's what I'm afraid of...

Grngry,

I was hoping to see a pic of something on a teal car.

Not going to fool around with it without seeing what it might look like.

You are 100% on with the purple. I like that color so much I might look for another car. No way I'm gonna invest $2500-3000 in a paint job when my paint is actually pretty decent.

On the other hand---this is no show car---I might CONSIDER putting a cheapie paint job on it, I dunno.

This fooling around with cars is a sickness. There are too many possibilities---crate motor, cam/heads, paint job, rims, stripes, 4th gen seats, new carpeting, now a friend shows me his 283 block and says it would make a great motor for my car - AAAAHHH!!!!

Maybe I should've bought an old pickup!!!!

I have seen black before, and it doesn't look all that bad....

Silver might look OK, but it doesn't seem like teal and silver go together....

White just looks bad, really bad.....

Just my .02, I say no stripes, or black if you insist
