any shop that has done the conversion before succesfully should be able to do it. There's a shop in the Beaumont, TX area that offered to fit T-tops to my 87 they had off of a parts car. I declined ( I like structural integrity ), but there are places that are willing to do it.

quite a bit more than just selling a hardtop car and buying a factory t-top car.

If I had to guess, I would say a good shop would charge at least $3000 to do it right.

You may get a better response to this in the NW Indiana-Chicago board. There was a company called Tuff Cars somewhere south of Lansing that did years ago. The place is still there but I'm not sure if they still do that kind of stuff.

Since you don't want it on the Chicago boards, I'm moving it to Body, since it's more Body related than Appearance and Detailing.

Marks does the cutting off of the roof and they transplant the factory T-top roof into place and redo the weatherstripping.

As far as structual intergrity goes you should just get SFC's to take car of that. Which is a good idea anyway just to quiet the things down.
