changing dash bulbs to a brighter bulb?
I took my dash all apart for some blown 194's. I know we can put LEDs in the dash but I just wanna put a bulb in and be done with it but I would like the dashlights to be brighter. I already painted the reflector side, but is there any bulbs out there that replace the 194 but are more brighter? Thanks.

Painting the inside of the metal piece will absolutely brighten the guages. Paint and replace stock bulbs with the xenons and you'll probably use the dimmer. Yes, that much brighter. By the way, I used the xenons, not only in the cluster but the HVAC control head, the console clock, and underneath my ProPart side markers. No problems whatsoever.

Xenons are definitely better than L.E.Ds.Much brighter & maybe hotter(although everything Ive read about xenons says the burn cooler)They are also suppose to last longer.Ive also got them on my HVAC,shift ind, under dash, dome lamp & also the license plate lamps. The 1157 xenons in my brake lights are twice as bright.Very big difference,Worth the xtra bucks you pay for them.....
