Replacement battery tray?

Does anyone know of a company, or somewhere I can get a replacement battery tray from? Mine is quite corroded and rusted.

I know I will have to drill/cut my old one out, and weld in a new one.

Then I will have to get a correct size battery too

Wont work, the tab that holds it down is rotted away. Battery just flops around.

Dale here are some links with info you may find useful. Links to companies and even a part number or two.

I need a battery tray

Have you considered relocating the battery to the trunk area instead?

Best of luck!

Hey, just want the DR ordered

Sorry, chessy, but I had to say it. Thanks for the links :hail:

After hearing about all the venting I would have to do, to install the battery in the trunk, plus majorly longer wire, I prefure not to. I know its better for tire spin and weight transfer. My old s10 had the battery in the bed, and I was constanly having problems with the long wire.

Just remenber the old welded in battery tray was part of the front fender support. So I would keep that in mine when thinking about a new one.
