Autometer tripple gauge A pillar pod owners - step inside

I got a tripple gauge A pillar pod from autometer, part # 12203, and I just wanted to see how many of you guys out there have one that doesn't fit for crap. The lowest gauge pod on mine is all the way against my dash pad... it's very irritating. I'm tempted to send it back and get a dual and single pod to put together.

Just like some input to see if I'm the only one, thanks.

Make sure you got the one for a hardtop if yours is and not the one for a TTop car. I ordered one for a hardtop car and got one for a t-top car and didn't know it until Kandied91Z helped me. It didn't want to slide down the A-Pillar and sit flush at the top. So I ended up having to cut the top off of it. I would of had a ton of pictures but my compter crashed a month or so ago. Let me know if I can help you out.

I have about 1" of clearance between the lower pod and the dashpad using a single and a double. I can assure you that it doesn't look bad if you have to go that route.

I think it would be fairly obvious if you have the hardtop version - it won't wrap around the ttop headliner like the ttop panel does. I hope you'e got the right part and even more I hope the tripple pillar is correctly molded.

Did you get gages for the thing yet? Haha..maybe for Christmas you did!

I'm pretty positive I have the right part number for Ttops, and it's just plain that autometer made the gauge pods down too low... if they were all moved up an inch it'd fit awesome, but the lowest pod hits the dash pad. I'm thinking I'm just gonna put it in anyway.

Got the triple pod for a t-top car as well. Have not fully installed it yet, but test fitting it before I put the car up for the winter, the bottom pod did rest on the top of the dash pad making for a tight fit.

i was wondering if they fit so close to the dash pad on fbodys too, because i have the tripple for my eclipse and it hits the dash too. Im definatly going with a double after seeing how close that is.

the gauges go in real tight and are kinda hard to remove if u dont have a good grip on them.
