THIRTEEN WHOLE YEARS ! 13 years of loyal service and my dashboard FInally Cracked. can you believe it? my dash was in PERFECT condition.

Now i have a spare dashboard... from an 84 bird... its in storage though so i cant try it will it fit right in?

ps did a search ... was unsatisfied with results. so no yelling at me for not searching.

 

It should, they look the same to me aside from the difference in the speaker grills,Iwould almost rather have a bird dash on my IROC, the grills look way cleaner

man i would always surf through these boards and see people who cracked theyre dashes and just laughed and felt proud that my dash was in tiptop shape. after all its been 200,000 miles..... oh well

 

If its your bird then the 84 bird dash will go straight on. 82-84 bird dashes had a line down the front and were a little squarer but it will work. It wont however fit onto the camaro.

 

yeah well it WOULD be going in the 91 camaro but... i guess not, yeah its a bit squarer then the 91s.

 

dash pads are one of the few non interchangable things in thirdgens

 

yeah along with bumpers, bumper covers, headlights, tailights, side markers, center consoles, spoilers, side skirts, 1/4 panels, of course youd have to do some fabrication in order to get some of those to fit, but all of those arent direct fits
