Interior related posts belong on the interior board.

And also, try creating a cardomain page. Creating two threads just so you can upload six pictures isn't gonna work man

did you have any trouble with the Grant wheel?? I bought the 440 challanger wheel and I hate the way the horn button is set up. it looks to me like I have to have the clear plastic cup over it or it won't work, it will just simply fall out of the steerinhg wheel.the plastic cup over the horn button looks really cheap!! I am almost ready to pull it off and put my stock Trans Am wheel back on just b/c of how the horn botton looks.

I've got that same wheel in my GTA, and didn't have any problems with it. The only thing that hung me up a little, was after the jackass aligned my car, the wheel wasn't straight any more, so I had to turn the wheel on the hub one bolt. I will fix it right before I get it back out this spring, but it worked ok for the latter part of last year. I painted mine red to match my car, and boy did that wake up the interior. I normally hate body color in the interior (just too "tuner"), but in this case it looks super nice. The only reason I did it, was the wheel wasn't in the greatest of condition, so I figured it had to look better than the scratches, and it did. In fact it looks so good, I'm going to buy a new one and have it powdercoated red.

Looks good!!! I just ordered my new seat covers Friday from Hawks. Hampton vinyl... Ebony around the outer edges with perforated titainium down the middle. I keep trying to think of some badge/embroidery/etc. to put on the headrest or the middle of the seat back... How did you "paint" the T/A on the headrest? Spray dye? Any bleeding problems for the paint? Any close ups of the headrest?

Yes I did have a little bit od a bleeding problem but I just got some gloss black vinyl paint and touched it up.

I did it but getting some sticker paper from the store and then cut out a stencil for it and stuck it on and painted it.

a couple of you have the same Grant wheel with no problems, did you have to use the clear plastic cover or bubble to go over the horn button??? I think it just doesn't look right with the clear plastic cover over the horn. if you did not use the clear cover to hold the horn button in place what did you guys use??????if I don't use the cover the horn button will litterally fall out of the wheel b/c the horn button has no flange to hold it in place against the wheel, clear as mud ? :-)

The Grant wheel in my car has no clear plastic anything. I don't think that we're talking bout the same wheel though. Mine is the Challenger (like the one in the first group of pics). The horn button is steel, and has little detents on the inside flange that pop over the cardboard horn "switch". Talk about clear as mud, how's that. Basically when you install it, you bolt the cardboard horn plate to the wheel with the 3 bolts that hol the wheel to the hub. Then you hook up the horn wire and in one quick move, press the horn button (which has the return spring taped to it) hard onto the horn plate (honking the **** out of the horn) until you hear it pop on. Let go, and viola, it's on there and it ain't coming off.
