Cheap Headlight Assembly
well im cheap and damn headlight assemblys are not, heh, i am looking for a way to fabricate one of my own, a simple one, prob a permenent one, dontsnt meed to move up and down, i have full access to a sheet metal fabrication shop, with break presses, lasers and everything else that comes with a sheet metal shop, i know how to run all these machines what i was wondering was if ne one had any ideas as to design, i have a few ideas but im sure someone can come up with something good, thanks for the help, heres a pic of my current setup, pretty isnt it

You might be cheap, but some things you have to do the right way. You can't really fabricate something like that and expect it to come out right.
You'd have to be better than 99% of the metal workers out there to get that to come out as good as the original. Best thing to do is breakdown, and go to the junkyard and get the parts you need to make that right.

I'm not sure what you consider your time worth, but I just replaced my headlight assembly, including the halogen headlight, bracketry, door and the actuator motor for $40. Junkyard and save your time for making horsepower

well im not syaing it needs to look good, just a little better then a bungee holding it down, im sure eventually i will invest more time and money into my car, just at the moment im a little strapped for cash, just looking for a quick fix

Check ebay. I can't begin to imagine the damage that could occure if water got in there. You could probably score a good set of headlight assemblies for a good price on ebay.

fellow thirdgenner. if i looked at your car and saw a fugging bungee holding the headlight down id like... kick your car or break the headlight off or something but DAMN kid that looks like HELL...
