...and how it sits 5 years from then with wonderful acrylic enamel paint:
major stuffs happening this summer.. one of them is a decent (clear/base) paintjob. Can't wait.

Here's the during. after should be done by August. it will include a hawk's 5" rear spoiler, black GTA wheels and a 91 Z28 grille. the car will be all redone in black and with red 88-90 Iroc-Z emblems.

Awesome guys. Now im in the mood to do something!! I will start on it AFTER i get my rear end in the car
I cant wait for paint. Im painting it Sunburst yellow just like my S-10. Except im doing a base clear on this one!! Itll look sweet with some heritage style black stripes ans an SS hood. Or maybe a blister hood I dont know right now on the hood but the spoiler is definantly going bye-bye and im incorperating the third brake light into part of the hatch!! Itll look smoothe! :lala:

Good work on bringing it back to life instead of letting it go to the scrap heap. Any idea what the previous owner did to it?

Well the previous owner was about 20. He bought it of some guy that wrecked it, and he got the car from his graduation money.
Him and a friend were supposed to be getting a parts car and were gonna fix mine up because it runs great. Well, he ended up buying a 3000gt and let the IROC sit for about 2 years until I came along. He told me that he was just going to do a burnout in it until the motor blew!!!!!!!!
How can anyone think of doing that to a car that ran so great!?!
I was thinking "f*** that", I'm buying this car! Can't let it die..
He wasn't interested in it anymore, he said I could have it for $600... Bought it on Dec 3rd, 2002. I should say - Saved it
