Size or part # for a-pillar trim screws (t-top car)

I can't find the right size/shape at any of the part stores. The ones I'm using on my GTA (hardtop) will not work on my Camaro (t-top), so I assume they require different trim screws. Anybody know what I need? Thanks

I DID A SEARCH by the way

My memory isn't very good anymore, so I apologize if I'm off base here.....

The only A-pillar trim screws I know of are the black colored ones that are on the trim face where the t-top "pins" go into. Are these the trim screws you're refering to?

One place where I've seen these screws is at Ace Hardware of all places. Just browse the fastener aisles and you'll find them.

These trim screws fit into the back side (non-visible side when installed) of the a-pillar trim piece and snap in to a hole on the metal a-pillar (body of car). They hold the trim piece in place so that they will not rattle against the a-pillar or the dash. Right now I have some fabric wedged between the dashpad and the a-pillar trim - just a temporary fix for the rattles. I hope I'm more clear this time. Thanks

Are you talking about these types of "screws"?

No wonder you can't find them... they're not screws at all, they're trim fasteners. You can find them in the HELP! section of just about any auto parts store (AC Delco dealers, Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc). I'm not sure why you couldn't find the right size... they usually have all the ones necessary. I got fasteners for those trim pieces and the door panels for my 86 Sport Coupe.

GM part # 20462090. It does not look like the x-mas tree ones in the link. This slides onto the trim panel and then has a tab that locks into the hole on the a-pillar. It also has some foam on it to help keep the trim piece from rattling.

Thanks so much

By the way, I know they aren't really screws. I've just always called them screws for some reason.
