What should I change my gauges to?

Any opinions? I wanted to go with either white or silver overlays, however I might even want reverse indiglo such as this: for my camaro. Any input would be appericated from people who have either the reverse indiglo setup or white overlays (from Macewen). One thing is for sure, even though it will be expensive, I will buy those blue xenon bulbs for my dash. Any comments please let me know....I was mainly worried if the reverse indiglo would wear out after like only a year or so.... It doesn't even have to be indiglo, it could be L.E.D.'s behind the numbers, just as long as it has that "effect". Although I am not sure if I could tackle a project like that. Thanks for all your advice,

Dave

If you want your guages needles to remain exactly where they should be then go with the Macewen, as they do not require needle removal, iirc. My needles back their original positions, but I am a magician. A scan tool or laptop link should be used for best results.
I was worried that the $45 reverse indiglos would burn out quickly, but they're still good as new after a few months now and they have been wired to be always on. I love how bright they can get, they are very noticible even far outside of the car. Chicks dig em too

runnriottt-
Do you have the 145 mph cluster or did you just buy the 145 mph overlays and put them in front of the 110mph factory faces?

so wait, you have white gauges AND reverse indiglo? I don't understand that....like I always though the reverse indiglo was a special white overlay....I really wish I knew more about them...thats why I asked you guys. I was thinking of using these LEDs, yes I know, laugh all you want, I'm going to spend like 80 dollars or more just for my dash but, eh, we'll see....they are called 194 matrix with a 270 degree viewing angle and the mcd is 23,000...they are 6.99 a piece. I need 11 of them.....direct 194 replacement.

http://autolumination.com/specifications.html

their site layout isn't the best, but if you scroll down, and look for 194 matrix you'll see the different colors they have...and if you click on "194 Wedge Side Marker & Interior Bulbs" at the top of the page, and scroll down some, you'll see where to order thier different types of 194 replacements.... the link on top of this thread shows the differences between the LEDs they offer.

Those do look sweet...but I can't get it from procarparts.com because my camaro isn't a 91 or 92. I'll have to get them from either

http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/ho...88&wizard=1&s=
or
http://www.streetracerparts.com/inde...PROD&ProdID=83

the thing with streetraceparts.com is that their order screen for the gauges is confusing because they talk about the digital inverter...and they have the option for it twice...I just don't understand...I emailed them about it and they didn't really explain it that well, so I don't know what to do.

I really don't care about changing colors, I just think the typical blue would be good enough
