Magnetic red Camaro - almost finished

I just felt like posting some picturess of my Camaro since its finally looking like something. The color is something along the lines of magnetic red/red tint 3 ct found on Corvettes, Caddys, Trailblazers, etc. Is it normal for a moderate prices paint job to have a few hard dots around the car stick up in the paint, you cant see them but rubbing your hand across you easily can feel them. Those are my wheels Im using by the way just some junkers. What do you guys think, sorry if the pics arent that great its still in the paint booth.

The guy only uses ppg but he had to go through hell for some reason to get the paint right. What color are you using?

Don't know the name of the one i'm useing. But its from a 2004 eclipse. But it pretty close to what u had done. Maybe a little darker.

Yeah some colors are a pain to get to lay out right.. I just did firebird383's car. Had hard time with the paint covering. Cuz of all the pearl in the paint

Believe it or not but that paint doesnt have any pearl at all. It has a light red base coat and 2 more coats after that of basically 80% opaque paint with hints of some weird colors in it and that causes it to be kinda funny going from light to dark.

That's a great color. Are the GFX going to be black? The bottom of the rear bumper looks like it's painted black. The door looks really straight where the handle was shaved.

Ya the gfx are going to be a shade of black but they blend in very nice with this red imo. Haha ya the door handles did blend in pretty well and this even suprised me. I was about to say something because with the primer on the car the body line that goes through the middle of the car/door looked really crooked and I couldnt tell if the handles were level because the body was still rough but its all good and I can start worrying less.

Ya I am really lucky they turned out well because we came very close to crewing up. Just to let you know the interior will be a new black/charcoal combo which I hope will help tie in the GFX.
