You may want to look a little deeper than just your dash.
There is a reason that your dash is shaking. Is anything else shaking? The dash is cantalievered out there, so any slight movement at the mounting point is exagerated and easy to see. You might want to find the source of the vibration in the car, like engine vibration, driveline vibration, worn out U-joints, out of balance drive shaft, out of balance tires......just to name a few. Check to make sure this stuff is good to go...and anything else that rotates for that matter, and that should solve your problem. My dash doesn't start shaking till about 135.... and everything shakes at 135

Same thing happens to my 92 RS

It's isn't all that bad though

I suspect u joints or driveline

(especially since I drove it around without a tranny mount in it for two weeks, that HAD to play hell on the u joints)

I recently balanced my tires and the driveshaft and along with the u joints. Can engine viberation from mounts be the cause, bc i havnt checked that??

Thank you for the response

As Dizturbed said, check your trans mount... they are often very worn out. Look at your engine mounts also, they are both made of rubber and can wear out.
Does your engine shake excessivly when the car is at idle?
What about if you give it some gas?

They are all going to shake a little. You may want to look at upgrading your motor mounts. If you upgraded your trans mount to urethane, you will be putting a LOT of stress on it by running stock rubber motor mounts. They will not give the front of the engine the same rigidity that the rear of the engine has due to it being bolted to the trans, which is bolted to the urethane mount. I don't think this will cause all of your vibration, but it is something to consider before you have to replace that trans bushing because it broke (tore).

From what ive read & been told.Polyurathane motor mounts WILL transmit MORE vibrations from the engine into the pass compartment.

That is true, but having some urethane and some rubber will tear up both. The rubber will flex WAY more than the urethane and will tear it up. Once it goes (and it goes quickly), the rubber mounts stand no chance....
