not really, just follow the instructions on the can, and clean them very well first.
Paint, brush in, repeat a few times to make sure it's totally done, then wait for it to completely dry.
Let me know if this fits ok, or what mods are needed, i'd love new front seats...

Can't hurt to try, I have a 99 GTP but the GP's are probably wider than thirdgens I'd imagine. The interior is very roomy.. Good Luck

Not a good idea... I have a couple GPs and the seats don't look like they'd even come close to fitting. The tracks are farther apart and the front of the track hooks into the body of the car -- it doesn't bolt in like a 3rd gen. And the seat itself is taller and wider... I'm not sure u'd even be able to shut the door!

i woulden't put them in on the basis that they are not very comfortable seats to begin with.

I'd say that the answer to that is, "How bad do you want a set of leather seats in your 3rd Gen?"... at this time ?

I got a screamin' deal (free ) on a set of 2004 Dodge Viper seats that I'm going to install into my '70 Camaro.
Those seat tracks, mounts, etc. are WAY different !!

I'm going to fabricate some seat track extensions/mounting extensions (whatever it takes) to make those seats work in there. The seats are simply awesome... and will be a NICE addition to the interior of the Camaro.

I'd say, by all means, give it a shot !!

Could the seat tracks swapped with the 3rd gen tracks?
I know late model ( 95-04 ) Cavalier and Sunfire seats will fit in a 3rd gen just by swapping the tracks.

Heh, some girl in my school totaled her Grand Am (2 door) I was wondering if you ever ended up trying to bolt them in. She said that she would give me alot of parts.

if they are like the Monte Carlo seats, they arent very comfortable...they're soooo wide, and are completely flat...i like our buckets better becuase they curve around you....and yea they are a bit wider i'm pretty sure too...so you may have to figure out how to fit them in..

I loved my leather GTP seats. Most comfortable seats ever. I just wish they had the thigh "pillow" the Trans Am seats have. Other than that, they are very comfy. If they fit go for it. The head rest alone, are worth it.
