Sun visors from newer cars

yes i searched. has anyone had luck finding "newer" lookin sun visors from other cars to fit hardtop thirdgens? i am lookin to replace my stock visors. i dont like how plain and old they look. i read 4th gen visors will work but some modificationg is needed. anyone know what other cars i can look for for newer lookin visors? thanks. im slowly improving the car's appearance. complete paint job will the be very last step. thanks.

I'm shaving mine. I hate sunvisors. Sunglasses work 10X better for me. Ever consider just removing them?

Most of today's GM visors are snap in or push and twist...with a pressure-type retainer.
I'm not so sure how you'd modify to fit a thirdgen.

Wouldn't have to be GM though. I had a set from a thunderbird in my 81 camaro, Just had to redrill the holes for the pedistal mounts.

do u have pics? i figure anything is better than the fabric-covered pieces of cardboard i have there. i saw an early 90s cutlass supreme today and the visors look like they may work. like was said i'd have to go to a yard and see for myself.

Make your own, its just some bolts, hardware, cardboard, foam, and some material.

Why not put the visors on the stock mount? That way you don't have to worry about new holes, etc.

The mount wears out on alot of them, so they just kind of flop down when you hit a bump. My current ones are getting that way...
