A must for a total detail.

Hello fellow third gen members.
I was detailing my car this weekend, for the third time, and as I was picking up any little particle that had happened to fall underneath the seats I noticed something ugly. It was my seat tracks. I removed the seats, I removed the seat tracks and did a good black paint job on them. What a difference it made, it was an eye sore to see the seat tracks all ugly. Once I reinstalled the tracks and bolted on the track covers I was happy. Try it.

You know, I thought about taking pictures while I was doing it but I didn't. I can shoot a pic of the finished tracks sitting in the car.

Finished pics are fine. I was rooting around under the seats of a rental car yesterday and thought to myself "wow, my seat tracks need to look like this." Satin black paint would do the trick.

Is POR-15 glossy or more satin?

Here is one pic, my batteries to my camers died, I will post another later. The before and after would have been better because mine were in pretty bad shape. I took some steel wool to them, then shot them with some X-O rust satin black.

I painted mine too.

It's the little things that really make a difference.

Thanks alot , it really doesn't take much time. Good luck and you will notice a difference if you are "****" about your car like I am

Nice job.

I did the same thing on my Fiero, where the seat tracks are even more visable.

Makes a big difference.
