This may be a way around this problem- if you request a car report from Pontiac Historic Services (sorry don't know the name of the Chevy equivalent), one of the sheets they will include is the original invoice which has the key numbers in the upper left hand corner. You can take those key numbers to your dealer who can then get the right keys. The report I got for my TA cost $35- it might be worth it to save you the trouble of having to get new lock cylinders for the hatch and doors.

If it has the hatch release button on the console try that first(if you haven't already. You could fold the back set down and remove the trim panels and pop the latch from the inside.

Mine quits every now and again and I can't pop it electronically (intermittent ground on park brake). I remove the cargo light assembly (lens and all), behind the light the mechanism has a slot that a long flat screwdriver can fit into. Give that a turn and should pop the hatch.

A locksmith should be able to make a key for you.
When I bought my 88 formula, it was a repoed car and only had the ignition key, but it had t-tops and the remote hatch button.
the locksmith said he could make a key from the t-tops or from the rear hatch compartment, we chose the rear compartment since it was easier to remove than the t-top lock.

Cost me $25 + $2 for each key he made.

This has been posted before, Remove the hatch light. Remove the 10mm screw holding either the hatch release solenoid or manual latch release to the pull-down motor. You'll see a square-shaped hole. Use your finger or a screwdriver to rotate the tab you see to release the latch.
