i had a friend weld them up for me. then i ground them down to match the roof. No more stress cracks. but to keep them from coming back again you need to add subframe connectors to the car.

then i'm guessing they were there before the sfc's and cage was installed? you've got plenty enough to keep them from coming back. my buddies iroc we didn't think had them, but when we sanded it down they were there, just hadn't broke through the paint yet.

we used a tig welder on a freinds car and we removed any intierior that was near it just incase... sparks fall down too so put somthing over the seats if the doors open. and do one small tack at a time so you dont warp anything

Dangit, I wish the guy I bought my car from had done this before he painted it I was redoing my seals this weekend so all I could do for the time being was add a dab of black silicone to cover the cracks. How far will they spread?

Mine are about 1/4" also but it bugs me that a person knew they were there and just painted over the cracks trying to hide it. I also asked the dude of any rust problems and he said NONE, I replaced my interior this weekend and sure as chit there was rust on the floor boards I did what I could to repair them without having to tear, weld, replace etc so I hope my repairs last awhile (until my next paint job)
