what is this gauge for?

it is located in my center console.i have no idea what it is.it is a gauge of some sort.

i could be wrong and your post isnt very discriptive but I believe 82 -84 camaros came with a clock on the center console

no it is not a clock.it has 1-30 /hg .and has a symbol of a piston w/ a little arrow pointing down on it.

vacuum gauge?

Hg is the symbol for mercury, and pressure or vacuum is usually measured in inches or milimeters of mercury.

Mabye it measures the flux capicator?

Then it isn't stock, which means it could be anything. Sure sounds like a vacuum gauge tho.
