It was pretty bad, who ever attemped to do the bodywork put filler over clearcoat and rust , the car was not looked after. Each of the door had holes in them about 3" long. it was in some kind of strange accident that they did not tell us about. both of the rear flares got molded into the body. the hood had two large dent in it. there was a hole about 6x4" in the trunk. the owner actually complained because she wanted the whole car silver even the grill. but we did a two tone with a small stripe above the bottom it looks realy good in pearson, my camera just sucks. The front bumper had a large cack in it. uh oh and there was a lil surprize in the ash tray. I give the car a year or two.

i was under the impression that the Z27 was only produced in 2nd gens?

my buddy has either a '71 or '72 Z27 i can't remember what year it is. but the Z27 is the special order SS package...

other than that, that's a sweet resto man

where did you get the decals/striping that run around the bottom of the car? i need to get some for when i have mine repainted.

just to clarify, there was no factory z27 available in the 82-92 camaro. though there may have been something that was dealer optioned. z27 was the rpo codes for 1st gen and early 2nd gen SS's.

just bacuse something is on ebay doesnt mean its real... i could throw ss badges a thirdgen and put it up on ebay as a ss, doesnt mean they made them

could also be a dealer promotional thing they did, its not factory

This thread died a long time ago, but this deserves to be knowen, I just found out that over the summer, this camaro was stolen by two teenagers, and it was wreaked when the cops pushed it into the ditch. And I just like to add, Ive read a few differnt things, and it appears that the Z27 was def. not a factory option, but it was a third party option, its bascly an Iroc, with a fuel injected V6. dont know if this information is correct Im just stating what I heard, anyways may this camaro rest in peace
