Question about 92 hatch pull-down assembly

I know that there is vertually no place to get an entire pull down assembly for a 92 camaro, which I have, or a late 91. I was able to take it apart and figure out what is wrong with it. The gear nut had stripped teath. I have found that part on top-downsolutions.com, but in the process of taking it apart I broke the motor. Which brings me to my question. Can I use a 91 or earlier pull-down motor on a 92 if I get the rest of the pieces I need to fit a 92?

P.S. If anybody knows a place where I can get an entire assembly for a 92 the info would be greatly appreciated.

My parts manual shows them as two different part numbers, so you are out of luck. What did you break on the motor?

I know that one on eBay won't fit yours. I have some used 91-92 pull-down units, so I can help.

I get mine from the junkyard. I got about three hatch motors, and made one good motor between them. I kept the rest for parts. Check the junkyard.

It is not from a 92. That is a mistake. The person selling that thinks the part works on cars from 82 till 92. That person doesn't know that the hatch pull-down assembly changed mid year 91. I'm guessing that person just listed it as a 92 thinking that it is
