I bought my 1984 firebird off my friend, knowing she wanted her 2" cowl bolt on hood back...so, now im currently hoodless. Does anyone on here live in the greater philadelphia area have a 3rd gen firebird hood laying around? i'd like to get another 2" cowl...it completed to look so nicely...but i'll take anything. I'm tired of having a blanket over my engine.

Anyone know of any good junkyards in the philly area as well? i know there's TONS! but which ones do you reccomend?

 

I have a hood from my 1990 gta thats red. I live outside philly near norristown and collegeville

 

how much do you want for it? your not a far drive from me at all...an hour at most...

some A-hole decided to hog the street today, and didnt move over enough (we have narrow streets where i live, and people park on both sides b/c their dumb) and his mirror clipped mine...i turned around and sped after him, but he turned somewhere and i couldnt find him...oh well. he only put a scuff mark on it...and its a little wiggly...but other then that, no damage...my friend looked back and saw his and said it was effed up...so my beast wins again lol.

yea, shes my baby. im currently working on restoring a '84 firebird. And in the process of saving up for a '88 camaro, and a '87 jeep wrangler (which is going to become my winter driver, since f-bodies suck in the snow). I plan to put a lift on the jeep, once i reinforce the frame, and go off roading

i also have a POS 89 dodge colt 4 speed in oregon...we live on a gravel road, so once i master driving stick, im gonna have fun beating that...

so im 17, with 3 cars...possibly/hopefully 2 more on the way lol. its an addiction, and a painfully expensive one.

yea, i was gonna ask you if we can go get it in the dakota...that would be schweet. i wanna check out his interior too...if its black, i wanna swipe the passanger and cargo area carpets...door panels...ill just paint the dash...i dunno. possibly his seats...but i may just get 4 gen. ebony seats...or reupolster mine...i need to find out whats cheaper...

i need to start getting parts and actually working on this POS car...i need to stop procrastinating...i guess i can work on the interior while in waiting on what to do with my engine an exhaust...blah. stupid POS bird...

 

Hahah okay sounds good. Whatever you need help with let me know. I don't mind taking a look at it today after work? We can get a list together of stuff that you want and need.. and maybe start work on it a little before you leave. At least by the time you get back we'll have a good idea of what to do and what is most important to you. I'll get that list of parts together for the "project" with it as well .. don't want to give away any hints of anything on here

dude, ask maureen how much i was flipping out when that A-hole hit my side view mirror today....i freaked out and turned around and sped after him, but i already lost him....****ing *******...i had like 2" between me and the parked cars, he had like...2 feet...or so. grrrr!!! i hate idiots! he was driving down the middle of the street then he saw me and swerved to his side of the road...but obviously not enough...he made me soooooo mad!

no, it was the driver side mirror...theres only a scuff on it, maureen said she saw his...and it was effed up lol.

nothing happens to the 84 without my consent by the way...dont pull any suprises out of your a$$ with it...
