WILL THIS WORK?????

so i was in a wreck the other day and the guy didn't have any insurance so i was left with the bill of fixing my own car. so i bought this parts car(87 z28) for only $400 and i'm gonna try to put the front end and fender on my car (86 iroc) will this work?

(couldn't get picture to show up on the thread sorry will try to get htem posted later)

so even though the new front end wont have the ram air intake i should be able to just take that plastic piece from the iroc and make one?

Yeah it will work. I wrecked an 86 Z and put an 88 Iroc front end and a 87 or 89 front end components on it and it all worked out fine.

ram air intake on an iroc? where? Are you refering to the grill?

well what do yall have? maybe i'm calling it the wrong thing... correct me please if i am... dont' yall have pipes going down the nose that force air into the intake and go through (as mine is) k&n filters?

We took a front end with the intake just as you desribed and made it look like a TBI piece where the hood latch is. I imagine it should work the opposite way as you are doing it. If not just cut some plastic and get the ram air kit from hawks.

Not to take it too far off topic or anything, but isn't there anything that you can do to keep from paying for this by yourself? Are you going after him for the cash?
