Overall length?

Any chance a 3rd gen will fit in a 15' storage shed/garage? I can get a 20' shed, but the price jumps too.

I'd measure it myself, but don't have a tape measure long enough.

Re: Overall length?

A thirdgen is closer to 16', IIRC.

Go hand it to a 5th grader, they'll take 2 measurements and ADD them together!

If I wasn't physically disabled, I could accomplish it myself. Not to mention, the tape measure I have, the lock is broke, so when you extend it, it retracts & won't stay out.

I didn't feel the need to fully explain it, when there are probably DOZENS of people who already have measured theirs.

Think before you speak...

Re: Overall length?

Stephan

My 82 Camaro Z28 is approximately 15 and 1/2 feet long and about 6 and 1/2 feet wide. The width dimension may not completely include the exterior mirrors and body trim at it wides point but is a good rough estimate.

Re: Overall length?

Thanks. I knew the width wasn't going to be a problem, the shed is 10' wide, I was just hoping for a 15" deep one instead the 20' deep one.

Maybe I'll try first, and see if the 15' is oversized.

Re: Overall length?

I went with 20' when I had a shed. 2 feet front, and 2 feet on the back. 15' is gonna be too tight.

Re: Overall length?

Like YOUR post was necessary...

I ask a SIMPLE question, and somebody feels the need to smart off, instead of answering, or just ignoring.

That's funny! To imply that springs are worn out, after 2 years or 15,000 miles. 7-28

Nice 4x4! Truck chassis? 7-25

Hmmmm....Is that a 4x4?
Looks like it is sitting kinda high.
7-22

Do I really need to go on?
It's OK, we all do it. Some of us can just take it better than others evidentally.

Re: Overall length?

I post HUMOROUS jokes, and you equate those with your implication that I'm stupid or something?

If you were trying to be humorous, you sure came across wrong! Might wanna work on your approach.

Re: Overall length?

Humorous is sooo very objective. That was the whole point of my initial reply. I see it no different than some of yours.
Again, I'll just end this with the ol "some of us can dish it out, but not take it" theory.
And I didn't call you stupid - ever. You just did!

Re: Overall length?

Thanks. I converted those inches to feet, so I could make more sense of it.

L: 16'
W:6' 8"
H:4' 5"
WB:8' 5"

Well, the masses agree...It isn't going to fit in a 15' shed, short of me pulling off the front fascia!

No matter. I've got lots more to put in there anyways.

Thanks guys!
