You can buy just the scoop section, and mold it on to any hood, which is what I bet he did.

Aww man! I thought it was some type of "rare" hood that has been discontinued! I almost wanted to buy it but its just a regular t/a hood w/ a scoop molded in! I guess I'll just stick with the ram air hood!
Re: Check out this T/A hood! What is it?
i kinda like that hood, but i dont know if thats somethign i'd want to look at every day lol, i do like the ram air hood but of each and every one ive seen in person, they've all been cracked like hell cuz of the flexing from the hood latch and springs and stuff....either way i think i'm just gonnastick with my t/a hood lol

I love the L88 hood. Personally its my favorite, except you can't get them for the firebird. That bondo jc whitney job in the pic looks like crap.
This is what the hood looks like for the camaros (its an actual hood you can buy)

Well gentlemen, i hate to break it to you, but there is somone out there that makes that hood too. I had their info before i moved a while back, i havent seen the catalog they sent me since. I was going to get one for my 86 TA. That one might be a molded piece but yea, someone made one. I will keep looking but i have been looking for 3 years for the catalog.
Re: Check out this T/A hood! What is it?
That looks like a glass hood to me. The picture is too poor to know for certain, but look at the fender. The hood (basically) follows the fenders. Now look at the hood where it meets the headlights and nose, it looks like someone popped the hood. Sometimes glass hoods fit horrible like that. If my hood fit that way I would sell it as well, and not someplace where people can record complaints!
I think the style of the scoop can somewhat work if it is properly sized and installed. What really screams at me is that the scoop is too large for the car. Rather than accenting the car the scoop is just taking over the entire hood and front end. Now if they scoop were about two inches narrower and an inch or two length-wise then it would start to fall in to proportion. Another interesting idea would be to drop the front just a hair and blend it a little more so that it leads in to the more traditional Z-28 looking section of the scoop. That would help follow the contours of the fenders and help the scoop work with the car a bit more. Just a few ramblings while looking at someones cheap-o glass hood.
