alright so heres the car



and the spoiler installed





the holes i need to fill from the firebird spoiler and as u can see i need to align the decklid and adjust the side spoiler pieces a lil bit




and heres all the body work i have to do

here is the color combo the car will be sprayed with

its either going to be 2 tone silver on the top the blue on the bottom

or all blue with silver flames

 

so far i like it the silver sounds bitchin

 

thanks right now im trying to find the same color blue and silver with a lil less flake in it. the 2 paints i picked out look like bass boat paint,so just a tad to much flake in them, if i cant find anything with a lil less ill use the first ones i picked out

 

Looks like a pretty straight body if that's it for bodywork. Where did you pull those colors from? It shouldn't be too hard to find something with less coarse flake in it.

 

thats the extent of the body work on this car, i even have a new rear bumper cover for it.
hell the doors open and clothes with one finger 0 sag on the hinges

the paints i picked out are from eastwood, im goin to check out some of summits paints since those are supposedly good quality to

 

I wasn't too impressed with the summit paints. Only bc of price. I think I got their Indian Bronze, like a copper, for something like 65 or so a quart. However it is already reduced. You can get a lot of other paints from a paint shop run that run around that price and you can still reduce them 4:1 2:1 or whatever it calls for. So I've saved money that way.

 

I you really like the colors, you can get their paint chip sheet and take it in to a paint store they'll put it on a computer and make the same color for you out of whatever brand you want. Might be an option. Just suggestions.

 

hey look at toyota's speedway blue color....my x-runner is that color its got a good amount of flake but not bass boat flake

 

i like that color alot, and chance u can get an up close shot of it in the sun for me ?

Call me sacrilegious, but ford sonic blue is a real nice color in my opinion. Might be a little darker, maybe a tad more purple than the toyota. But I've always loved a good deep royal blue/gray or silver combo.

 

thats a perfect color blue that with the silver i picked out from eastwood even with all the flake in it would look badass

 

Another close color would be yamaha team blue, I have it on my r6. Most internet pics of it seem lighter than it really is. It's a close mix between deep blue and purple but it's pretty close to the sonic blue, just a little darker.

 

Silver man. You already have a blue car.
