I've been looking around for some body kits for 92' Pontiac Firebird, and I came across an image of this one. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0002_large.jpg

But I can't find where I might be able to purchase it, it's driving me nuts. Where could I find this kit, and if you don't know. Give me a few suggestions on kits, I'd love to see some cool ones.

 

The company who made this kit is out of business from the last I've heard....but that was back in 1998...not many kits where sold, as there where a lot of other kits being sold at the same time.

 

That's a shame, I still like the stock body that comes with the Firebird. Just curious about my options.

You don't happen to know the name of the company do you?

 

Fiber Fabercator comes to mind....or....Evoluation, but I don't even think their web site is up anymore...you may try to see if you could find something about it... you could go to a search engine and type in: custom body panels and front ends. This might bring up what might still be out there....good luck in your search...

 

I saw this kit on somebody's firebird a while back, they said the name of the company but I can't remember now what it was. I looked it up at the time and dug around online for hours. After reading posts here and on other car forums (they made it for several other cars too) both new and old, the general conclusion among everybody was that the company had gone out of business. Many people had tried tracking down phone numbers and addresses, some spent serious hours trying. But alas, it was all for naught. Too bad, because if I was going to put a body kit on my bird, I'd choose that one. I think it looks cool without being over-done and gaudy.

I believe that is the preditor kit. The website was up in January, but I see where it expired 3/1/2012. You can try calling. They MAY have changed web names or gone out of business.

I think that is about the end of my searching. It seems McK Plastics mostly sold through JCWhitney. Call the numbers above posts and see what pops up.
