Simple, but easy things to make your Camaro/TransAM look a little nicer.
My peeps,
My question to you smart people out there. I have a 1985 Z28 I am re-doing. I would like to know some simple things that I can do on my own that are pretty self explanatory to do without needing a lot of help cause I am not good at cars either, need to be kind of self-explanatory, if that makes sense....?
Simple things for example: I am using a scratch pad, some black matte paint and re-painting some of the cars black liners by windows etc. Things maybe you could explain to me just on here what to do and be able to knock them out. Also, maybe help other people get some idea's to make their cars look visually just that much more attractive by doing simple things, WITHOUT having to spend a lot of money.
thanks a ton!

You could maybe look into some diy paintjobs, remove the door ding guard for a cleaner look, repaint your headlight buckets, use some plastic polish on your tailights and turnsignals. Repaint wiper blade arms and the trim like you said. Basically clean up whats faded and try and do tasteful modifications. Your wheels look clean no need for paint there as does your intake.

The right ride height and wheels can really change a car. Louvers, visors, or a good, clean tint can really set a car off too, as well as the right spoiler. Other than that, it's all personal taste and you can't really go wrong as long as you work with the lines and style of the car and stay away from AutoZone stick on accessories, tacky chrome parts and Ed Hardy accessories lol.
And of course, fixing broken things and refinishing worn or faded parts always makes a huge difference too, which is what you already seem to be doing. These cars looked gorgeous showroom fresh, but if you want them to look even better then the stuff I mentioned will really set a car off and get you noticed out cruising or at car shows.

And what do you mean by that? Whats your opinion of clown wheels? haha.
I am considering keeping the Original IROC wheels, which I do like. But thought about some of the new chrome/gloss black wheels that would match the black on the car; kind of like an accent. i attached the best picture of what I could find. Now obviously wheels vary from people and their opinions, but this is just an example of a decent looking wheel.
