well, i was hanging out with some chick last night around 2-3am and she opened my door and SMACK right onto a curb (like right over it) and it got stuck open, she then tugged it and tugged it and scrapped it back close, well, just today i looked and noticed my ground efx on the door got pulled away from the body at the corner of the door and isnt like flush against the body anymore... what do i do to get it bac to how it was???

ok, here's what you do, go over her house, tell her to bend down and take a close look at what she did. when she gets her face about a foot away, slam the door open. this will not only teach her to care for other peoples ****, but also, if you whack her hard enough, the impact will push the ground effect back to the correct position? i know this may sound a little out of line, a little sick and twisted, but she needs to learn her lesson. oh what the hell, i dunno, perhaps just try taking the piece off, make sure nothing is bent or broken, and reinstall it.

 

did it just wrench on the ground effect itself? or did it twist the door skin as well...

If its just the ground effect, take it off and put it back on like it should be...

If its the door skin... well... you'll have to check with the piece off of it so who knows...

 

well, its like the bottom piece of the passenger side door ground fx, the part that like connects to the door, it looks connected in all the right places but like a couple cenemeters from being plush with the door now.... was it glued as well? if so with what sort of compound?? thanks. and good suggestions with the door upside the head, lol!

Use a clear silicon sealer and then wedge a piece of wood between your door and a wall and leave it to set overnight.worked ok on mine

For anyone who finds them self in this situtation, don't pull on the pass door. Open the drivers door all the way and push down on it, then pull the pass side door closed.
