i have seen a posst about this were someone did it i would like more info i know the 6 speed console works but i cant find 1 of those i have an auto i can get please let me know

 

the extra clearance is needed for the automatic, a 6 spd would be too short

there is a 4 gen manual consoled selling on ebay, if you want to get it, because i know you have the auto consoled.

does the 4th gen concel come up and replace where the stock factory radio/heater controls are? and is it possible to throw in a 4th gen guage cluster? i just like to have things balanced out. i just think our guage setup is ugly

About this, I have the automatic in the camaro and just for the console replacement to a 4th gen how would it look? I have the red interior and would prefer a solid black console to match the rest of the dash, did they make 4th gens like this, or just that black/grey console. I read it is bolt on but does the shifter still work or does it need to be modified and in what way to fit? I read also the dash works too, what about the gauges, how hard are they to set up. This was discussed earlier but the pics didn't work. I would like a fresh thread since I'm still new to figure out how this works.
