Has Anyone Ever Tried...

has anyone ever tried to clear their front parking lens on their 3rd GEN bird?

or maybe use another application front parking lens from another make/model vehicle?

this is my current project, and i thought i'd ask since i've gotten great responses in the past.

thanks guys for suggestions and answers...

I went the other route and decided to tint mine - seeing as all of that front stuff is black plastic I think a clear lens would stick out more. Give it a shot and see, it's worth a try.

This is more than likely more work than you want to do, BUT, I have considered making my own front facia, then making my own blinkers...

Just a thought though...

I did put clear turn signals on my Firebird, but I also sprayed tint on them. The idea was so when I added strobes they came through their color instead of orange, but they are clear and blacked out...

I may be confused, but your talking about the front bumper/marker lights near the fog lights in the front of the car. If so, ... trying to think of his name... Willeyz28 or something like that. It's willi or something. He has a white camaro with a supercharger on it with clear front marker lights. He'll make you a pair or tell you how. He charges 75-100 to make them though.

Sorry if I brought any confusion...

To clear things up, I'm actually talking about the front turn signal/parking lights on the 3rd GEN firebirds, that are in between the headlights. My appologies for the confusion fellas.

Thanks for all the responses so far. Let me know any/all ideas you guys have.

I'd like to darken mine, but I do want my fascia to look like this.
