Pep Boys Bright Blue dash bulbs?

Are they any good/just as good as the ones from McEwen? I found them in the import section of the store? Thanks

I wanted those to but they were out when I was bulb hunting so I ended up just getting some more 'bulb condoms' for my bird.

I hate the orange/amber color firebird gauges came but, I'm not sure I'm likeing the way the gauges came out with the lil rubbers on them either. I'd like blue if the colored glass bulbs didn't cost so friggin much for a pair.

The gauges aren't quite that green colored but, my digi.cam. doesn't take the best dark pics.

Did you Sand off the orange on your needles so they would be green too?

my friend got the blue ones for his truck from pep boys. they turned a SWEET shade of green in about a week. (i was being sarcastic)

he's a little bit of what we call here in syracuse an idiot....he bought new bulbs like every couple weeks for a whole summer.

then he just said "screw it" kept the stock ones.

maybe they were different though...i would ask them if they will give you a refund if they turn green.

No sanding, I didn't touch a thing except the bulbs.

Z28 Boy.. your friend had to buying the painted bulbs did he ? I know what you're talking about with the sickly color the paint turns on the bulb in a short time. I believe the ones bank30 is talking about are xenon(sp?) colored glass bulbs which may be something close to what Macewan sells.

Why don't you find out what kind of car has blue dash bulbs stock and go to the dealership and order them. The jetta's have a cool look, I don't know if the bulbs are all the same though. I'm sure another pontiac or chevey has the blue dash.

This would be sooo much easier if you guys just went out and bought some damn blue LEDs ! I did it and looks exceptional. LEDs WILL stay the same color for a looooooooooong time. Probably longer then your car will live.
