1985-87 Camaro Sport Coupe/Berlinetta Grill Project
Everyone,
I'd like to find someone who has an intact front grille for the aforementioned make/model. (See examples below, pulled from the internet as well as a prior post.) With that being said, I not only wish to find one for purchase---I also plan on getting it scanned so that 3D printing services can make NEW replacements for those who need them (such as on Etsy, Fiverr, etc.) If someone has a copy but doesn't want to sell it, I ask that they consider getting the grill scanned so that they can be replicated for the benefit of others. There are a number of parts which are no longer being made because they were for a specific year or aren't for a Z-28/Iroc, etc. As time goes on it'll only get worse. If anyone is interested in doing so, please let me know.

Takes about a week. I'm almost half way through the print I am doing now. I need to know with fog light provisions or without and with License plate holes or without.
Re: 1985-87 Camaro Sport Coupe/Berlinetta Grill Project
Those....are d@mn good looking reproductions.
Yes, by all means. I think I'll go with the less shiny/matte black version with no headlights and no license plate holes. (If I really really need to I can drill 'em myself or make another order.) Would $120 be good? $50 for materials + $20 shipping + $50 work.
If you have Paypal I can do it that way, I believe people can send bills that way. Just send me a private message and I'll respond with contact information. (Other options for payment are fine as well.) Thanks again, I'm so happy to see someone's managed to make these.

Hey, I just joined this forum group and I'm current in this same exact predicament. Looking for an 87 sport coupe grill identical to the photos you have posted but it seems nearly impossible to find as a reproduction. What did you end up doing or what was your final solution? I saw that someone had come to 3D print and didn't know how that had turned out.

Ron, I'd like to give your 3D printing a try. Maybe even try a couple different materials if you're up for it. Toss an email my way if you're interested in helping. Understandable that you're behind and have a life outside of this but I'd like to get the ball rolling and have a better line of communication outside of this forum. Thanks in advance.

not a problem, i can wait. I have not yet started on my body work yet. I just got the car on the ground last week. I emailed you already. Just email me back what you need and when. If you have an eta that's awesome but not necessary. I really do appreciate it!
I tryed to contact you via e-mail. Can you tell me if you still make these?
Yes but I am having printer problems that have taken months to get working. I think I might have the problems fixed. What do you need? With fog lights or without and with license plate holes or without? I make them in two parts then epoxy the front halves together and plastic weld the back so you can't see a seam in the front. It your interested, send me an E-mail and if you don't hear from me with in 24 hours. Send me the information back here or send me your E-mail and I'll here and I'll send you an email from my end. See if you have my correct email address: rjack37@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Ron
