Camaro Overhead Console in a Firebird?

Will any Thirdgen Camaro Overhead Console fit in a Thirdgen Firebird? I'm sure you could make any console fit, but just wondering...

I would tink so, unless the mounting holes are differant becouse they share the same roof slope. If you need one for a hardtop I have a complete one in excellent condititon I'd be willing to sell for $30-40.

E-mail me if your interested,
Matt

Im up to 8-9 overhead consoles now. ive removed them from camaros and firebirds, they are all the same. the one difference is the flashlight say either camaro or firebird.

Though the overheads will fit both Camaros and Firebirds, remember that there is a difference between the coupe version and the t-top version (different roof lines--also the coupe version has a cardboard/foam reinforcement piece under the headliner).

Anyone have an extra nut that holds in the swivel map lite, and that they are willing to part with? I have a console that I want to install in my IROC, but it is missing that one part.

Blue - I'm going to a new boneyard tommarow and hoping to find some new stuff. If I find one I might just have to drop into my toolbox for ya...

I dont get why everybody says that the ones from t-top cars will not fit in hardtop cars. Last week I took the overhead console out of my t-top trans am and put it in my friends hardtop camaro. It fit perfectly...I dont know why. I thought that everyone says they dont fit. He was looking around for one...and we were curious as to if my t-top one would fit in his hardtop ones place...strangely enough it did.

I've done the same thing. You just can't take one from a hardtop and put it in a t-top. It's bent.
