How to loos weight?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has seen replacement door panels or fends to loose some weight.

If you have any other ideas about loosing weight could you please post them.

Thank you very much =)

Here are a few things to help ya lose some puonds.

Baer brakes up front 20lbs
Fiberglass hood 25lbs
Remove AC 35lbs
Lexan hatch 35 lbs
Aluminum water pump 8lbs
aluminum heads 50lbs
aluminum driveshaft 5lbs
remove spare and jack 35lbs
Plastic headlights 4lbs
remove emissions stuff 20lbs
smaller converter 10lbs
lightweight starter 10 lbs

There are a few other things you can do to loose weight off your car that I would not do on a car that was driven on the street. The under bumper impact beams are worth 50lbs and fiberglass doors are good for another 50.

Can anyone say ...... Jared!!!!! Subway diet. hehe. Fiberglass body panels, remove all seats except yours, take out window motors if you have em (and don't need em), remove all A/C, fiberglass hood, headlights, taillights, whatever you can take off the car and it still runs, lol.

well the only fiberglass parts for our cars that i have seen is Hood and front fenders. they all can be found at www.up22.com and the fenders are only 150 bucks which i dont think is bad at all

as for the rest of the weight loss its simple everthing you can live without ditch
seats
conlse
gauges the useless ones
wipers,washer bottle
over flow tank,(replace with pepsi bottle )
brake booster
small gas tank
carpet

it all depends on what your using the car for if its just for street use i would just leave everthing in there but if its nothing but drag raceing well you can take out just about everthing.

oh and as for the K1 kit i wouldn't do it just to loose weight when you can weight less then that with out the price tag. dont get me wrong i love the K1 kit but i would only do it for pleasure not to loose weight.

P.S. CrazyHawaiian you have been flamed again
(i didn't think one was enough :sillylol: )

the K1 kit takes alot of time and money the kit itself is cost right around $7,000 after S&H and you have to hack up your car and the interior kit is $750 without S&H but heres the site for you its bad *** just cost alot and you might wanna shot for the K2 kit its nicer and just a tich bit more. last i heard they were stopping the production of the K1 so they can sell the K2

Hey iroc, thanks alot. Here's a new pic of my car with my Iroc's polished. I just ordered my 91-92 Z28 High rise spoiler and clear side markers.

Oh, I've seen a complete fiberglass body online somewhere, but I forgot where. Complete one piece front end, rear 1/4's, everything. I'll start looking around.

yeah i would have to say pour some slim fast in the gas tank. maybe drain all the fluids as in antifreeze, oil, tranny oil. take out all the brakes. let the heavy air out of the tires.

just start taking anything that you think shouldnt be in there. back seats spare tire. those will be the easy. if you have a "system" take it out. the AC....

Less weight=Better E.T., less parts breakage and can be less money.

More power=More wheel spin, more parts broken and more money.
