1le rattle clips/spring clips??????
So I've collected up the parts to build my 1LE front set-up on my car. I've seen in some exploded parts diagrams that there are some clips that I don't have. There is a clip above the brake pads, and a clip that goes on either side of the caliper, front and back. Where can I get 'em? I don't beleive the pads came with any hardware, and I bought the calipers and pads seperately.
thanks in advance!

Yes, there are rattle clips/ springs...you can get them aftermarket thru "carlson" just ask for front caliper hardware kits, it will contain the studs with washers and E clips and those little springs you need

cool, thanks for the info. I have some leads now.
yeah, it seems they get mentioned now and then, but it also sounds like alot of people don't use them, makes you wonder if you really do need them.

I have a few of those laying around, yours if you want to come up with the $3 for me to ship them to you, gimme an address. They're actually springs that will keep the caliper tight in the carrier, up against the retaining pin.
