brakes freezing and fading, new motor

Well, the car has sat for 4 years,...finally got the new motor in and : my brakes are very stiff and hard to push, and sometimes the calipers stick like they are fozen, even with my foot off the brakes. The car chatters when i go foward...then it seems when the motor got hot before I lost brakes completely, not even moving fast....like brake fade. ideas?

Are the rotors rusted? That could be one solution right there. If they're not, take the caliper off and pull back the rubber boot covering the pin the caliper slides on. That could need greasing, or it could be rusted. If all that's fine, double check all your vacuum lines to the booster.
