U know. Now all my cars have them.

U dont realize how much a difference they make in pedal feel to you swap the complete set on.

The TTA got them.

The Formula got them.

Finally got around to swapping them onto the GTA as well. Its an awesome feeling hitting that pedal and u can tell by feel its going 100% to applying the brakes.

Still amused at how much better it feels.

So 3.8TransAm are you saying thats the Earls Braided lines are really worth the money?

I was thinking about doing the Camaro, would love that tight brake feels as EVERY other componet is new,...I have heard about breakage issue's on braided brake lines..(Not sure the brand tho) Any onther guys running them, and if so any issues???????? Thanks, Tom

How much did this cost you? Do you have stock brakes on the car and it still made the braking experience better? Everyone always recommends changing the rubber hoses to at least new rubber hoses if not better because our cars are so old and the stock ones are probably close to failure. I guess being able to stop is a pretty good thing.

Go with Earl's or Goodridge and you'll have no issues. Definitely worth it and a must when doing a big brake upgrade, they're standard in all my kits, front and rear.

yea, i forget i have them until i go back to someone elses car... they just make the pedal feel so much better.

Would you recommend replacing the stock rubber brake hoses on my all stock 1987 IROC 5.7 with Earl's. Would I really seen a differents?

Lets put it this way.

Figure $20 * 4 for all four corners of the car.

Plus another 30-40$ for the line from the body to the rear end.

Or just get the braided line for 105$ from Summit.

Cheaper last time I checked, if only by a little.

Cool, next project, I just did EVERYTHING on the brakes except the lines...I can hardly wait....

Hopefully 3.8 your post will push me to do mine. I have a set of Earl's I got for Christmas two years ago that I still haven't gotten around to putting on.

Summit needs to update their site with parts and a better search (maybe not as good because of the update needed) so this way I can find what they sell. I mean I have searched Summit for their OWN products and sometimes they arent even on there. Anyway....where can I find earls line from the front to the rear????
