All Brake Lines are Perfect Except my Right Rear?
Hey guys, need some advice on my brake lines.
I just installed earls SS brake lines last night on my 84' TA, they look great.
However, they only supply three SS lines. Two for the front and one for the rear main.
My question is, my rear right brake line is a hard line up until it gets to the caliper then it becomes rubber...wtf. (The left side is a hard line all the way into the caliper.)
Its obvious its a factory rubber hose, but I want to convert it to a hard line so my brake system is complete (at least in my mind lol).
Its not a standard brake line, it requires a banjo bolt and a machined round fitting for the bolt. Am I going to have to make a custom hose to fit this caliper?
Its on a 84' TA 15th Anniv. with 4 wheel discs.
Any advice would be much appreciated. One more thing, if this website was a women, ide make sweet dirty love to her all night long, its THE website lol.

Sounds like you ordered the wrong kit.

That's possible, but its already installed lol, im thinking it may have something to do with the 15th anniv. edition coming with 4 wheel discs while a majority of cars that year had rear drums.

Ya, I see that. According to summit racing though, which is where I ordered, they said it only fit 85-92. I wonder if I can purchase that single line by itself. However, I would still prefer a hard line over a flex line, just for the fact I can use a hard line for what I need to do.
Also, if you check Earl's website, they say it only fits 85-92. The Spohn kit is nothing special, Earl's is the manufacture and sells it to all the retail stores.

Huh, well that sucks lol. I wonder if Earl's will sell just that single brake line directly.
Anyway, I appreciate the help. I think I may take the existing rubber line to the local hydraulic shop and see if they can make me a custom line. Everyone knows being hard is better then being a soft noodle, at least that's what I hear the girls say...........

You might be able to purchase the SS line from Ed Miller at http://www.flynbye.com
Here's the link that will demonstrate the early confusion--Note that Spohn is apart of the conversation (post 14-16):

BTW, that one post you put up should be stickied, as it seems its still a relevant issue lol.
