AutoZone c5 reman front calipers?

They go for $104.99, which I think is a good deal and they have a warranty from what I can see. They are remanufactured and have the Corvette logo machined off, which I think is nice since it will look like they came stock with the car. What do you guys think? I'm serious as all hell about doing the c5 front brake conversion and kind of like the idea of these calipers from a part store with warranty, as opposed to ones from Ebay, or other used ones. Your thoughts?

thats just for the calipers, you still need the abutment brackets.

Re-manned is fine, but a lot of times autozone is not the place to get them from. The quality is not always there. I would go with something done by ACDelco or Napa.

Yeah, I thought as much. I found a place online< if I can remember that name, where I can get the complete setup and new for a reasonable price. Thanks!

Re: AutoZone c5 reman front calipers?

I've had my autozone battery since I bought the car 4 1/2 years ago. But then again, brakes are a bit different.

I've actually decided to bite the bullet and buy new z06 calipers from kore3.com.

Re: AutoZone c5 reman front calipers?

Well I got mine from Orileys autoparts... I did a lot of cleaning up on them before I installed them. One had corvette on them but was beat up the other was shaved off...So I just shaved the otherone off and cleaned up all the dings and painted them...No leaks or anything.. So reman is ok.

X3 For Rockauto.com

18B4702 w/ abutment bracket and hardware 112.79
18B4703 w/ abutment bracket and hardware 112.79

Not the absolute best in quality, but far superior to stock metric calipers IMHO!

They have better quality available as stated above for slightly more cash.
