C4 Brake bracket to spindle torque spec
As stated in the title. What are the torque specs for the C4 bracket to spindle bolts used on C4 brake conversions? Thanks.

Re: C4 Brake bracket to spindle torque spec
I just remembered the Lukestaff site. Says 89 Ft lbs for the torque spec. Sound about right to you guys? I'm gonna go ahead and put that spec on the bolts, unless someone says different.

Re: C4 Brake bracket to spindle torque spec
I would use the torque spec for the bolt being used. There may be two different size bolts depending upon what was used/supplied. Be sure to use red loctite on the bracket to spindle bolts. And blue locktite on the abutment to bracket bolts.

Re: C4 Brake bracket to spindle torque spec
According to the Lukeskaff site, it does. said 89 without the loctite and 83 with it. These are for the fronts, not the PBR rears. That I already know thanks to you James. Bolts are the same size just different lengths. I just wanted to be sure that it wasn't like 30 before I did it. I don't think I've ever used loctite on much anything. If I did then I don't remember doing so. But if its better to use it on these things then maybe I'll do just that and torque em to 83.
And RBob, when you say abutment... are you talking about the carrier? I don't have the calipers and rotors etc. yet, and I still need to order hubs and bearings as well.
